Tasnim - Panama football team's coach Hernan Dario Gomez is satisfied with his team’s performance against Iran.
The Central American team lost to Iran 2-1 in a friendly match held in Graz, Austria Thursday night.
Dario Gomez was unable to have eight of his habitual players between injuries and club commitments.
“Regardless of the result, I am satisfied with my team. In the second half, we played a very disciplined style and dominated the match,” he told the Panamanian television channel RPC.
“Panama had problems in the first half but we improved in the second half and could equalize the match,” Dario Gomez added.
Panama will be playing in the World Cup for the first time.
