Persepolis arrives in Tehran

IRNA - Persepolis of Tehran, representative of Iran in Group D of the Asian Champions League in Tashkent, arrived in Tehran on Friday. 
Persepolis played three matches in the quarterfinals of the Asian event. 
The red-clad side beat Al Talaba of Iraq 1-0 in its first match and lost to the host team, Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan, 1-0 in the second clash. 
Persepolis managed to defeat Nisa of Turkmenistan 4-1 in its last quarterfinal match. 
Pakhtakor qualified for the semifinals as it won all three matches, bagging nine points.
