On Tuesday, the Blues defeated Sepidrood Rasht 2-1 in Rasht’s Azodi Stadium.
Jaber Anasari and Dariush Shojaeian were on target for Esteghlal in 52nd and 68th respectively and Hossein Ebrahimi scored for the host in the 86th minute from the penalty spot.
Elsewhere, Naft Tehran edged past Sepahan 1-0, Foolad and Esteghlal Khuzestan match finished in 1-1 tie and Zob Ahan drew 1-1 with Saipa.
Pars Jonoubi Jam sits top of the table with 17 points, followed by Padideh and Persepolis both with 14 points.
