Tasnim - Ezekiel Bassey joined Iranian top flight football club Paykan on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old winger has penned a one-year contract with Paykan for an undisclosed fee.
Bassey has joined Paykan on loan from Nigerian football club Enyimba.
He started his playing career with his homeland Akwa United in 2013.
The former Akwa United speedster was with Spanish giants FC Barcelona on a six-month loan deal from Enyimba FC last season but could not tie down a permanent deal.
“It is a great feeling for me to be a member of this great club. I hope to give my best,” the excited 20-year-old said.
He is reunited with his countryman Kenneth Ikechukwu in the Tehran-based club.
