AFC - Uzbek international striker Anvajon Soliev struck the only goal of the game after 22 minutes to give hosts Pakhtakor a crucial 1-0 win over Iranian champions Pirouzi in Tashekent on Tuesday.

The victory was Pakhtakor's second in as many matches and put them on the verge of qualification for the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League. They need only a draw in their final Group D game against Iraqi side Talaba on Thursday to advance to the last four.
