Tehran Times - Leandro Padovani Celin has extended his contract with Esteghlal football team by one year on Sunday.
The 33-year-old Brazilian defender joined Esteghlal from Sepahan in September 2016
His countryman Robson Januario de Paula, who was a member of Esteghlal last season, parted way with the Iranian team and signed a contract with Portuguese team Boavista.
Padovani has spent the majority of his career in Brazil. In 2012, he was transferred to Foolad in the Iranian Professional League where he won the title in 2013–14 season. In July 2014 Padovani signed with Naft Tehran and moved to Sepahan in the following year.
