Tasnim - Iranian international midfielder Masoud Shojaei has extended his contract with Greek Super League team Panionios.
The 33-year-old player joined Panionios F.C. on a one-year contract in 2016 and has signed a two-year contract extension with the team.
Shojaei returned to European football after joining the Athens based club from Qatar’s Al Gharafa.
Masoud Shojaei has been an integral member of the Iranian National Football Team and has enjoyed a fruitful career playing his trade with several clubs ranging from the Iranian Professional League, La Liga and the Qatar Stars League.
He also represented Iran in the 2006 World Cup in Germany and the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
