Tasnim - Iran’s Persepolis football club reached an agreement with Iraqi international defender Ali Hussein Rehema Al-Mutairi.
Rehema, who currently plays for Al-Wakrah of Qatar, has made 128 appearances for Iraq national football team and scored seven goals.
According to Qatari media, the 32-year-old player will join Persepolis on a one-year contract.
A source close to the Iranian club said they had also reached an agreement with Iraqi international defender Saad Natiq but it seems the 23-year-old player has preferred to join Qatari football club Al-Markhiya.
Persepolis has earlier reached an agreement with Paykan free agent Godwin Mensha and Sepahan defender Shoja Khalilzadeh.
