Tehran Times - According to local media, Foolad football club want to lure Abdollah Veisi as new head coach.
Veisi is without a job after sacking from Sepahan.
Under guidance of Naeim Sadavi, the Ahvaz-based club finished in 10th place in Iran Professional League, 29 points adrift of winner Persepolis.
Veisi led Esteghlal Ahvaz to their first major trophy success – League Championship – in 2015-16.
Abdollah Veisi also is a candidate to take charge of Gostaresh Foolad Tabriz.
Foolad officials have reportedly contacted Veisi over a possible move to Foolad for the upcoming season.
Veisi was a member of Foolad football team as a player for three years and has worked as an assistant coach in the club in 2006-07 season.
