Tasnim - An eye-catching performance of Persepolis striker Mehdi Taremi in the Iran Professional League (IPL) has caught the eye of four Greek football teams.
According to marca-sl.gr, Greek giants, namely Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, PAOK and AEK want to sign a contract with the Iranian international striker.
Taremi has played a key role in the current season for Persepolis and his goals helped the Reds lead the IPL table.
Taremi also scored two vital goals for Iran national football team against Qatar and China in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
The 25-year-old striker joined Turkey’s Rizespor at the beginning of the season but cancelled his contract to return to Persepolis.
Iranian international players Karim Ansarifard and Masoud Shojaei are playing in Greek football league.
