Tasnim - Iran lost to Russia in the women’s U-19 football tournament “Kuban Spring” on Friday.
Leyla Vaghari’s girls were defeated 3-0 against the host.
Iran will play Slovenia in third-place match.
Russia will face Ukraine in the final match.
Iran has already defeated Russia’s Krasnodar, Kazakhstan and Slovenia in the tournament.
The tournament was held for the first time in 2004 in Poltava Stanitsa, Krasnodar Krai. It began as a club tournament, later acquiring international status, and since 2010 it is held in Sochi.
