“We are far better than the previous derby as we have changed our style of play and a couple of key players. I believe this time it is a 50-50 game regardless of the positions of the teams in the table. For the fans, this game have more than three points, sometimes it is the same as winning the title for them,” Mansourian told reporters in the pre-match press conference.
“As both teams are in good shape we are expecting an enjoyable game with a lot of goals scoring opportunities,” he added.
Esteghlal will take on Persepolis in the 84th Tehran derby in the 21st week of Iran Professional League on Sunday in Azadi Stadium at 15:00 local time.
