Tasnim - Tractor Sazi of Tabriz football team defeated Zob Ahan 4-1 in Week 21 of Iran Professional League (IPL) on Saturday.
Mohammad Iranpourian opened the scoring in the 6th minute from the penalty spot and Tractor Sazi Brazilian striker Edinho doubled the scoreboard in the 31st minute.
Mehdi Rajabzadeh pulled a goal back in the 35th minute but Tractor Sazi’s Mohammad Ebrahimi was on target four minutes later.
Zob Ahan put the host under pressure to reduce the deficit and created several chances in second half but lacked the cutting edge.
In the dying moments of the match, Mehdi Kiani scored to seal a 4-1 victory for Tractor Sazi.
Tractor Sazi, who was defeated against Persepolis 3-0 last week, remains second six points adrift of the leader.
IPL pacesetter Persepolis will play Esteghlal in Tehran derby on Sunday.
