Zob Ahan Suffers Home Defeat to Saba in IPL [VIDEO]

Tasnim - Zob Ahan football team was defeated against struggling Saba in Iran Professional League on Thursday.

In the match held in Fooladshahr Stadium, Mehdi Hosseini scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute with a long-range shot.

Zob Ahan missed the chance to move IPL third place with this home defeat and stayed in fourth place with 11 points adrift of pacesetter Persepolis.

Furthermore, Sepahan lost to Paykan 3-2, Saipa edged past Foolad 1-0 and titleholder Esteghlal Khuzestan defeated Padideh 2-1.

On Friday, Siahjamegan will host Gostaresh Foolad and Sanat Naft play Naft Tehran.

Persepolis will meet Tractor Sazi on Sunday in the last game of the week.
