Tasnim - Tractor Sazi edged past Esteghlal Khuzestan 1-0 on Thursday to move provisionally top of Iran Professional League (IPL).
Mehdi Sharifi scored the winning goal in the 86th minute in Ahvaz’s Ghadir Stadium.
Tractor Sazi went top one point ahead of Persepolis.
Elsewhere, Esteghlal defeated Naft Tehran 1-0 thanks to Omid Ebrahimi’s spectacular free kick in the 59th minute.
Paykan also drew 1-1 with Gostaresh.
On Friday, Persepolis will play Saipa in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Zob Ahan host Siahjamegan, Machine Sazi meet Foolad and Padideh face Sepahan.
