Tehran Times - Naft Tehran defender Igor Prahic has been linked with a move to Persepolis football club.
The 29-year-old defender joined Naft Tehran in July after parting company with Padideh.
Persepolis Croat coach Branko Ivankovic has shown interest in signing a contract with his countryman in the January transfer window.
Branko is set to sign Prahic as a replacement for Mohammad Ansari in defence.
“I know Persepolis wants to hire me but I am in contract with Naft and two clubs should reach an agreement on the transfer,” Prahic said.
Ansari will likely move to Chinese Super League side Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng in January.
Persepolis is going to strengthen defensive line for the AFC Champions League, where the team will kick off the campaign with a match against Al Hilal on February 21.
The Iranian popular team leads the domestic league with 32 points after 15 weeks, two points ahead of Tractor Sazi.
