Tasnim – FIFA has confirmed the friendly match between Iran and Morocco which was scheduled for January 6 in Dubai, the UAE.
Iran, who is preparing for a match against Qatar in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification on March 23, will meet the African powerhouse team in its training camp in Dubai.
Iran tops Group A with 11 points, followed by South Korea and Uzbekistan.
The Morocco national football team, nicknamed the Atlas Lions, will meet Iran as part of its preparation for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations which will take place in Gabon from January 14 to February 5.
Morocco has been drawn in the Group C of the tournament alongside defending champion Ivory Coast, DR Congo and Togo.
