PTV - Iran’s national football team have crushed Papua New Guinea 8-1 in a warm-up match ahead of next week’s World Cup qualifier against Syria.
Iran scored twice in the first half, but Papua New Guinea pulled 1 back early in the 2nd half. Iran then scored another 6 goals in a span of 25 minutes to wrap up the win.
The match was played in Malaysia where Iran is in a training camp ahead of Tuesday’s qualifier against Syria.
The Syrian team play their home matches in Malaysia due to the ongoing conflict in the country.
