Tehrantimes - Iran national team head coach Carlos Queiroz says that all invited players to Team Melli have chance to play against Syria in the 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Iran has been scheduled to face Syria on November 15 in Kuala Lumpur.
"We are trust in the players who are invited to the national team and all players have chances to play against Syria," Queiroz said.
"We are going to defeat Syria to take another step toward qualifying for the 2018 World Cup. The most important thing for us is winning three points," the Portuguese coach added.
Alireza Beiranvand and Vahid Amiri are injured and were absent in Persepolis match against Sanat Naft in the Iranian Professional League.
"Beiranvand will not travel to Malaysia with us but I hope Amiri can be ready for the match," he said.
"Iran will hold a training camp in January and play a friendly match as well. We will give our young players a chance to play in the match", Queiroz added.
Team Melli, who has moved up to 27th in recently FIFA rankings, sits top of Group A with 10 points.
The top two in each group reach the 2018 finals with the two third-placed sides meeting over two legs for the chance to face a CONCACAF team in a final playoff for a ticket to Russia.
