Paatoop - Sardar Azmoun’s club Rostov was defeated 5-0 in Munich in their first match of the 2016-17 UEFA Champions Leauge.

Azmoun played for 64 minutes until he was replaced by Prepelita. The club’s other Iranian player Saeed Ezzatollahi did not get any playing time.

Rostov was no match for Bayern Munich as the German club pounded them; with goals from Lewandowski, Muller, Kimmich, and Bernat.

After this terrible defeat, Rostov will try to redeem itself by taking on Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League, on September 18th.
