IranMania- Sohrab Entezari has become the top goal scorer of the Professional League. He reminds us of Farshad Piyus of the old days. In the first days when he started to play for Perspolis, everyone thought he'd be dismissed just like Barmak and Baghmisheh and the others from other cities in Iran, who did not come up to Perspolis's expectations. But today he has become the fixed striker of Perspolis. Though short in height he has scored 4 head shots in the six weeks of the Professional League. He single handedly defeated Malavan and scored 2 goals for his team. Q: When you were being transferred from Nowshahr to Perspolis were you afraid that you would be dismissed like the other forwards from out of town? A: Well, I practice very seriously. At first they told me that Seraj, Baghmisheh and Barmak practiced like me, but they weren't successful. I didn't pay attention to any of it. I came to Perspolis to get my dues. Q: It seems you succeeded. You are now fixed in Perspolis and Mr. Goal of the League. A: No. I still haven't got my dues yet. Whenever I become a fixed striker of the National team, then you can quote, "Entezari has got his dues in football." Q: How was the game with Malavan today? A: Though they have financial problems, they are a good team. Perspolis played very well today. All the boys tried their best. I got results because of this. Q: It seemed that all the Perspolis strikers wanted to score themselves and they made fewer passes? A: Perspolis has good strikers and there's serious competition among them. The boys were all goal hungry today. Q: How have you scored 4 headers despite your shortness? A: Scoring headshots is not related to height. Correct positioning is more important. I have done special practices for head shots. I am still practicing.
