PLDC - Esfahan, The CEO of Zob Ahan said, "One of our possible coaches for next season has his eye on Ali Karimi."

Saeed Azari said, "One of the coaches that we are negotiating with has Ali Karimi's name in his roster list. If this person becomes the coach of our club, we will begin negotiations with Karimi."

He continued, "Ali Karimi has helped our national football a lot and he has many qualities that a lot of our player lack. Karimi also couldn't show his best at the end of the season in Tabriz, due to an injury that came from cold temperatures. I like Karimi and believe in his technical capabilities."

Azari concluded, "The rules of management dictate that I can not pick players on my own, as these players must be picked by the club's technical cadre. On Saturday May 10th (20 Ordibehest),  at 9 AM, we will announce our new coach on our official website."
