Tasnim - Esteghlal of Tehran football team kept its supremacy in the Iran Professional League (IPL) after beating Foold 2-0 on Friday.
Jaber Ansari put the visiting team ahead in the lead in 57th minute.With two minutes remaining, Croatian striker Pero Pejic scored Esteghlal’s second goal.
Elsewhere, Sepahan of Isfahan defeated Naft Tehran 2-1 in Isfahan under its newly-appointed coach Igor Stimac.
Ali Ghorbani scored for Naft in the 36th minute but Naft midfielder Hamid Bou Hamdan scored an own goal just before the halftime.
Sepahan captain Hadi Aghili scored in the 89th minute from the spot.
Furthermore, Zob Ahan was held to a goalless draw against Saba, Padideh defeated Rah Ahan 1-0, Saipa beat Malavan 2-1 and Tractor Sazi drew 0-0 with Siahjamegan.
