Iran Slips Four Places in FIFA Rankings

Tasnim - Iranian national football team moved four places down to 43rd in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.


Iran continued to top the rankings among AFC countries, followed by South Korea and Japan at 48th and 50th respectively.

Belgium has moved up to No. 1 in the FIFA rankings for the first time, despite only reaching the World Cup quarterfinals last year.

Mexico is the top CONCACAF team at No. 23, while Algeria is Africa's best at No. 25.
