Tasnim - Former Real Madrid coach Bernhard "Bernd" Schuster is among the candidates to take charge of Iran’s Sepahan football team.

Sepahan parted company with Hossein Faraki by mutual consent on Sunday.

“We’ve been offered so many big names, including Bernhard Schuster but we have to chose the best option,” Sepahan General Manager Asghar Bagherian said.

Former Croatia coach Igor Stimac and former Esteghlal coach Amir Ghalenoei are among the candidates.

Bernhard "Bernd" Schuster has coached Shakhtar Donetsk, Levante, Getafe, Real Madrid, and Malaga.
