Moharram Navidkia

TEHRANTIMES - Moharram Navidkia has been named as the interim coach of Sepahan football club after Hossein Faraki left the club by mutual consent on Sunday.

Sepahan officials who has started the search for a new head coach, decided to appoint the 33-year old midfielder as the interim trainer.

That was while Amir Ghalenoei and Igor Stimac had been considered as the candidates to replace Hossein Faraki.

It has been rumored that Navidkia’s relation with Faraki led to the resignation of the latter.

Navidkia who has played most of his career for Sepahan bid farewell to the club nearly one month ago in an statement, but made a controversial U-turn afterwards to attend in the team trainings.

Sepahan will take on Rah Ahan in the Hazfi Cup quarter final on Thursday.
