MNA - After meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Netherlands Football Federation president announced the organization's readiness to cooperate with Iran.
Michael van Praag made these remarks on his joint meeting with head of Iranian Football Federation (IFF) Ali Kafashian adding that, “it was a very good meeting during which we achieved important agreements to launch new partnership in near future; I am deeply pleased with the meeting and I hope by holding similar meetings with Iranian football officials, the two sides will reach new achievements.”
Expressing his deep understanding of Iran’s culture and civilization as well as Iranian’s interest in Football, he added “I have a good knowledge of Iranian culture and civilization and I hope by signing an MoU we will be able to make Iranian youth happy and football will turn into a means to expand the relations between the two countries.”
Michael van Praag continued that, “definitely, we will be able to deliver our achievements and possessions to Iran and we can learn many things from Iran reaching mutual cooperation.”
“I will surely meet with the technical committee of Netherlands Football Federation in the next few days asking them to communicate with their Iranian counterparts in order to make a comprehensive plan forming the roadmap of our cooperation with Iran Football Federation,” said he.
Kafashian is visiting Netherlands to discuss development of cooperations with his Dutch and German counterparts.
