Persepolis Earns First Win in Iran Professional League [VIDEO]

Tasnim - Tehran's Persepolis football team defeated Foolad in the Iran Professional League (IPL) thanks to a brace from Mehdi Taremi on Tuesday.


Persepolis striker was on target twice in the 51st and 57th minutes in the match held in Ahvaz’s Ghadir Stadium.

It was Persepolis’ first win after five weeks in IPL.

Elsewhere, IPL leader Sepahan defeated Saipa 2-0 thanks to a brace from Ehsan Hajsafi in the 50th and 90th minutes.

Gostaresh Foolad defeated Malavan 1-0 courtesy of Shahram Goudarzi’s first minute goal.
