Persepolis captain Hadi Norouzi was sent off by referee Mohsen Torki after receiving a straight red card in the 67th minute.
Persepolis striker Mehdi Taremi pulled a goal back with three minutes remaining.
Elsewhere, Padideh of Mashhad drew 1-1 with Foolad, Rah Ahan of Tehran lost to Saipa 2-0, and Naft Tehran was held to a 1-1 draw by Saba.
