MNA - The latest FIFA ranking of the national football squads has placed Iran in 41st place.
Carlos Queiroz’s sons however still hold the first place in Asian continent ahead of South Korea, Japan, and Australia. Iran shows relegation from last ranking of 38th with 718 points. In comparison, Iran still stands ahead of famous EU national teams as Greece, Turkey, and African Cameroon.
In Asia, South Korea stands in 54th place with 599 points, and Japan and Australia follows it with being in 56th and 61st places and 595 and 551 points, respectively. In the Middle East, UAE stands in 70th place and fifth in Asia.
Argentina, Belgium, and Germany lead the ranking in August 6 update of FIFA world ranking.
