Tasnim - Persepolis of Iran defeated Turkmenistan's Altyn Asyr in a friendly on Wednesday.


In a match held in Persepolis's training camp in Turkey, the Iranian popular football team defeated Turkmenistan champion 5-0.

Ali Alipour netted a hat trick and Farshad Ahmadzadeh and Reza Khaleghifar scored one goal each.

Persepolis had already defeated Trinidad and Tobago Olympic football team 2-0.

Branko Ivankovic's team was held to a goalless draw by Turkey's Genclerbirligi on July 15.
