Tehrantimes - Brazilian striker Bruno Cesar Correa is on the verge of joining Esteghlal football team, according to the team coach Parviz Mazloumi.
“We have talked to Bruno Cesar’s agent and agreed to sign him. He is a good striker who had a very good performance when he was playing for Sepahan a couple of seasons ago,” Mazloumi told the reporters.
Bruno Cesar Correa scored 12 goals in 21 appearances for Sepahan in 2012. It will be his second spell at Iran Pro League after three years.
Esteghlal finished in 6th place in last season’s Iran Professional League. They have signed Mehdi Rahmati, Roozbeh Cheshmi and Jaber Ansari so far in the transfer window.
Esteghlal will play a friendly match against Saipa on Thursday.
