Paatoop.com - President of the Iranian Football Federation, Ali Kaffashian, congratulates Japan for their strong performance in the 2015 Women’s World Cup, in Canada.

In his letter to the Japanese Football Federation, he wrote, “We would like to sincerely congratulate your federation, and women’s national team for achieving second place (Runner-Up) in the Women’s World Cup in Canada.”

He added, “Achieving Runner-Up in the 2015 Women’s World Cup is an indication of this team’s power, with the successful management and planning of your federation.”

Kaffashian concluded, “I hope that we once again begin cooperation between our two federations.”

Japan won the 2011 WWC, and they couldn’t have been any closer to winning the 2015 tournament; having only lost to USA in the final.
