Tasnim - Anderlecht football team linked with NEC Nijmegen’s Iranian winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh.

The 21-year-old international Iranian was voted the best player of the 2014-15 Jupiler League on Tuesday after an impressive season with NEC Nijmegen in the Dutch second division.

He had an impressive season with NEC Nijmegen scoring 12 goals and providing 18 assists, rtbf.be wrote.

Jahanbakhsh had already been linked with FC Groningen, Heerenveen, Club Brugge, Standard Liege, Norwich City and Celtic.

Jahanbakhsh was a member of the Iranian national football team in the 2014 World Cup and the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

He has made 15 appearances for Team Melli, scoring once, and can operate on the left or right wing.

On 26 May 2013, Jahanbakhsh reached an agreement with Dutch Eredivisie outfit NEC for a three-year deal.
