Tasnim - Iranian national football team (also known as Team Melli) will play a friendly match with Uzbekistan, according to Iran Football Federation (IFF).

The Iranian football team, who has been drawn alongside with Turkmenistan, Oman, India and Guam in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification, will face Uzbekistan on June 11.

Iran’s friendly with Kenya, Scheduled for June, had already been called off after the African federation was going to send its U-23 football team to Tehran.

IFF is also negotiating with Japanese Football Association to arrange a friendly football with the East Asian giant.
