Naft Tehran Back on IPL Top, Persepolis Loses

Tasnim - Naft of Tehran football team returned to the top of the Iranian Professional League (IPL) on Sunday.


Naft came from behind to defeat Gostaresh 2-1 in Tehran.

Leonardo Pimenta gave the visiting team a lead just before the break from the penalty spot.

Ali Ghorbani equalized the match in the 55th minute and with two minutes remaining, Amir Arsalan Motahari scored the winner.

Elsewhere, Tractor Sazi moved up to the second place after defeating Persepolis 1-0 in Tabriz's Yadegar-e Emam Stadium.

Shahin Saghebi scored the only goal of the match shortly after the hour mark.

Foolad and Paykan also played out a goalless draw in Ahvaz.
