Tasnim - Mohammad Nouri’s winning goal against Uzbek Bunyodkor took him to 39 goals, one better than Ali Karimi’s mark.
Nouri scored a goal from the penalty spot in the match against Uzbekistani football team on Tuesday in Group A of the AFC Champions League.
Nouri has scored 39 goals for the Iranian giant during five years, beating Karimi’s tally of 38.
“It’s my pleasure to be among the best goalscorers of the club’s history. Persepolis is my childhood club and I will always be proud and honored that I had a chance to play for such a great team,” Nouri told Persepolis website.
