Tasnim - Iran's Foolad coach Dragan Skocic says that poor performance of referee reminds him of Tom and Jerry cartoon.

Foolad was held to a goalless draw by Al-Sadd of Qatar in Ahwaz’s Ghadir Stadium in Group C of the AFC Champions League on Wednesday.

Foolad player Mehdi Badrloo was sent off in the 69th minute after receiving his second yellow card.

“Today, when I saw the performance of the referee, I remembered watching Tom and Jerry in my childhood,” Skocic said.

“Al-Sadd has very good players and when our player was sent off, we could not play normally. They are a powerful team and I told my assistants we would have a
difficult job in the second half,” the Croat added.

Foolad will play Lokomotiv Tashkent on March 4 in Uzbekistan.
