Tasnim - Persepolis iconic midfielder Payam Sadeghian will miss his club's match against Zob Ahan, which is scheduled for Friday.

“During the training he injured and MRI tests revealed that he is suffering from a rectus femoris strain,” Persepolis doctor Mahyar Mortazavi told the Iranian club’s website.

Sadeghian will be available for the Persepolis’s next match, Mortazavi said.

Persepolis will play Zob Ahan in its away game on Friday in Isfahan.

The Iranian popular team is standing 8th place with 22 points and 11 points less than Iran Professional Leader Naft.
