Brazilian Keeper Nilson Surplus to Requirements at Persepolis

Tasnim - Persepolis Brazilian goalkeeper is set to be axed by the Iranian popular football team.


Persepolis coach Hamid Derakhshan no longer considers the Brazilian goalie part of his plans.

Nilson Corrêa Júnior, simply known as Nilson, joined Persepolis in July 2012.

The 39-year-old goalkeeper helped Persepolis finish second in his second season.

Nilson kept 18 clean sheets in his 68 appearances for Persepolis.
