The friendly match will be part of the Iranian side's preparations for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

Iran, which is holding a preparatory camp in Johannesburg, defeated Kaizer Chiefs reserves team 2-0 on Wednesday.

The Asian Cup will kick off in Australia on January 9, with Iran playing Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates in Group C.

The Asian heavyweight will also play Palestine on December 28 in Tehran. Team Melli will meet Iraq in another friendly in Australia six days before their opening match against Bahrain.
