Tasnim - Naft football team snatched a late victory over Rah Ahan in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
Naft defeated Rah Ahan thanks to a Vahid Amiri’s 94th goal in Tehran’s Takhti Stadium.
Naft moved top of the IPL with 30 points followed by Sepahan, Tractor Sazi and Foolad.
Earlier in the day, Persepolis suffered a 2-1 home defeat against Foolad.
Persepolis defender Mohsen Bengar scored an own goal just 35 seconds into the match.
Persepolis captain Mohammad Nouri headed the ball into the goal in the 43rd minute but Foolad Cameroonian striker Aloys Nong gave the visiting team a lead in the 72nd minute.
Elsewhere, Tractor Sazi beat Zob Ahan 2-1 in Tabriz, Padideh and Naft Masjed Soleyman finished 1-1 in Mashhad and Esteghlal Khuzestan drew 4-4 with Esteghlal in Ahvaz.
