SLInternational - Former Bafana Bafana coach, Carlos Queiroz, says Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is a perfectionist, like former Hollywood action star, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Queiroz, praised Golden Shoe-winner Ronaldo, whom he coached at both United and Portugal, for his attention to detail and compared him with Schwarzenegger, who won numerous bodybuilding titles before starring as 'The Terminator' in Hollywood movies.

"It was rare to see in a young player so much talent and such a strong personality, purpose, persistence and commitment," Queiroz told FourFourTwo.

"I read about Arnold Schwarzenegger learning to dance the tango - he was obsessed with being a perfectionist. Cristiano is the same.

"I was once in my office at Carrington and saw something moving in the trees far away. Maybe it was a spy, we used to have them and I called Security. They came back to me and said: 'It's Cristiano Ronaldo. He's training alone.' He is unique as a footballer."

Ronaldo, who was beaten to reach Raul's record by Lionel Messi, has scored 448 goals in 701 career games for club and country.
