Iran to Face Iraq in Sydney

Tasnim - Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz said that they will play a warm-up match against Iraq ahead of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup in Sydney.


The Iranian football team is in Group C of the AFC Asian Cup along with Bahrain, the UAE, and Qatar.

Queiroz said that Iran will play Iraq in Sydney before his team’s first match against Bahrain on January 11.

Iran will also play friendly against South Korea ahead of the Asian Cup in Tehran.
