Tasnim - The president of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) Carlo Tavecchio will travel to Iran to strengthen bilateral relations between two federations.

Tavecchio will travel to Tehran, capital of Iran on October 14, according to Iran Football Federation’s website.

President of Iran football federation Ali Kaffashian negotiated with his Italian counterpart in Rome last year.

Iran and Italy football federations agreed to improve football relations in the meeting.

Kaffashian also discussed with his Italian counterpart the possibility of friendly matches between the two football teams on all the levels.
