Tasnim - Esteghlal football team lost a third game in a row in three weeks in the Iranian Professional League (IPL) on Friday.

The Iranian Blues was defeated against Zob Ahan 2-1 in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium.

Mehdi Rajabzadeh gave Zob Ahan the lead in the 9th minute.

Hashem Beikzadeh equalized the match in the 51st minute.

Masoud Hassanzadeh scored the winner for Zob Ahan in the 73rd minute.

With nine minutes remaining, Mehdi Rajabzadeh was sent off after receiving a straight red card.

Esteghlal had previously lost to Naft and Foolad in its two previous matches.

Elsewhere, IPL leader Tractor Sazi was held to a 1-1 draw against Sepahan.

Padideh lost to Paykan 2-1 and Foolad drew 2-2 with Naft.
