Tasnim - Tehran's popular soccer team, Persepolis, defeated Esteghlal Khuzestan thanks to two goal from Mohammad Abbaszadeh.

The Iranian popular team beat Esteghlal Khuzestan 2-0 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in the Iranian Professional League on Thursday.

Mehdi Momeni gave the lead the visiting team in the 13th minute.

In the 32nd minute, Abbaszadeh found the back of the net to equalize the match.

Persepolis captain Mohammad Nouri was brought down in the Esteghlal Khuzestan’s area seconds before the half time and Abbaszadeh converted it into a goal.

Elsewhere, Malavan was held to 1-1 draw against Gostaresh, Rah Ahan drew 2-2 with Naft Masjed Soleyman and Saba edged Saipa 1-0.
