TEHRANTIMES - English Championship side Blackpool has shown interest in Iran international striker Reza Ghoochannejhad.
Ghoochannejhad has been linked with a possible move to Blackpool this summer after impressing team’s coach Jose Riga at the World Cup, English site Clubcall reported.
Ghoochannejhad has already worked under Riga in Charlton Athletic.
The 26-year-old striker scored Iran’s solitary goal in the 2014 World Cup against Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the team lost 3-1.
Iran also played out a goalless draw against Nigeria and suffered a late defeat against Argentina in Group F.
Charlton signed Ghoochannejhad in January on a two-and-a half-year deal. World Cup betting
