TEHRANTIMES - Foolad goalkeeper Sosha Makani joined Persepolis football team on a two-year contract.

The 28-year-old goalie was a member of the Iranian football team in South Africa and Austria’s training camps but was left out of the team for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Makani will vie with Persepolis' Brazilian keeper Nilson Correa to wear No. 1.  

“Persepolis is a great club and I’m pleased to join the team. I’ll work hard to prove myself in Persepolis. I am going to shine with Persepolis in the AFC Champions League,” Makani said.
