Persianfootball.com – LAS PALMAS, Masoud Shojaei’s string of outstanding performances continued in Spain’s Liga Adelante, as the Iranian international grabbed another assist in Las Palmas’ 1-0 win over Alcorcon on Saturday.
Again the gifted offensive allrounder impressed with his footwork and great passing throughout the match, qualities for which he had quickly emerged as fan favourite.
Las Palmas now stand in third position of the table.
In Germany Daniel Davari had no lesser impressive day as he led Eintracht Braunschweig to a 1-0 win over Champions League contenders Bayer Leverkusen with some amazing reflexes.
However, Braunschweig remain on bottom of the table, but still managed to close the gap to the teams ahead of them.
Alireza Jahanbakhsh meanwhile again came off the bench for NEC Nijmegen in Eredivisie and had a satisfying display.
The Iranian youngster was subbed in at halftime when NEC were trailing FC Twente 0-2 and helped his side to a point as the match ended in a 2-2 tie.
In England, Ashkan Dejagah surprisingly slipped into the starting lineup as Fulham suffered a 1-3 defeat in the hands of Manchester United.
Dejagah, who hadn’t played a minute in the league so far this season, was subbed off at the hourmark following a solid performance.
Reza Ghoochannejhad’s Standard Liege and Sardar Azmoun’s Rubin Kazan will be in action on Sunday.
The teenage striker had earned some playing time in Rubin’s shocking Cup exit last week, but couldn’t turn things around in the 1-3 defeat.
Before, Azmoun had scored two goals in just three short appearances for Rubin’s senior team, making him one of the hottest prospect of the Russian giants.
